The viewpoint of the image changed because now you're able to see the whole thing and not just the picture up close. I didn't necessarily think the man was photoshopped but at the same time I wasn't 100% sure that he was actually climbing. Scale can affect the picture because photographers are able to create illusions by the portions of the photos shown. Looking closely you can see that it's spliced together. I think the picture takes place in the city but maybe not a city in America. The girl looks very sad. She looks melancholy. I think the title suggests that she is the last girl. Wether she is physically the only one left or not, we don't know. It could be representing other people growing up too fast and this is why she is sad.
